Each family on full-time staff at camp is responsible to raise deputized funds.

Their son Nicholas is attending Michigan Technological University and pursuing a degree in engineering; their son William is a Junior and their daughter Ella Mae is a Freshman, both at Ellsworth High School. James is working as Program Director alongside Naomi Sponable as well as helping in Maintenance alongside other staff and Barbi is managing the Craft shop and the Camp store.
