April Photo Walk
Description
Join photographer and Wright-Locke Farm educator Sue D’Arcy Fuller in an informative and fun late afternoon photo walk during the golden hour (the hour before sunset) on Wright Locke Farm!

The first 30 minutes will be spent discussing photographic composition, lighting, shadow and ideas to bring new perspectives to your photography. We will then get outside to photograph at various planned stops. This time, we’ll head into the woods to look for budding plant life and to photograph the vernal pools as the afternoon light streams in. If we are lucky, we’ll be accompanied by the sound of the spring peepers that are just emerging.

We’ll also spend time photographing the interior and exterior of the historic 1827 barn. Of course, you’ll also be able to take candid portraits of the chickens and goats.

On this walk, we will emphasize photographing during the time of light change before and leading up to sunset at the farm. Again, photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend!

It will not be a strenuous walk, but participants should be able to walk in the woods a little over 1 mile on trails with uneven terrain.

Program may be cancelled for inclement weather.

Dress and Gear
Make sure to dress appropriately for the forecasted weather at the time of the class. Any type camera is welcome, digital or film, including phones.
