Support Us
Traverse Area Community Sailing (TACS) is more than just a sailing program—it’s a gateway to building confidence, fostering community, and offering opportunities for all to experience the joy of being on the water. We provide affordable programs for youth, adults, and adaptive sailors, ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial or physical limitations, has access to the transformative power of sailing.

Your support helps us keep program costs low, provide scholarships, maintain our fleet, and create new opportunities for growth. By contributing to TACS, you’re helping people of all ages and abilities forge a lifelong connection to the water while embracing the values of teamwork, resilience, and adventure.

Scholarship Fund:
Make sailing accessible to all! Your donation helps provide scholarships for children who may not otherwise be able to attend our programs, opening the door to new opportunities on the water.

Adaptive Sailing:
Sailing is for everyone! Your support ensures individuals with disabilities can experience the joy of sailing. This program is fully funded by grants and community donations—every gift makes a difference.

Women on the Water:
Empower women through sailing! Your donation supports our Women on the Water program, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where women of all skill levels can learn, grow, and connect on the water. Contributions help fund resources, equipment, and opportunities to make this program accessible to more women in our community.
