Counselor Agreement
The job of the Camp Counselor is full of responsibilities and requires dedication. The counselors are expected to perform numerous and varied tasks. Counselor Responsibilities ? Follow and respect all camp rules and guide campers to do the same. ? Set a sound moral and ethical standard for all campers. ? Complete all assignments in a timely manner. ? Be courteous and responsible to campers assigned to you. ? Be prompt in all camp activities. ? Participate in ALL camp activities. ? Maintain a safe and clean environment. ? Help guide your group and observe the clean up process after meals/snacks. ? Help clean the camp facility before leaving the camp at the conclusion of the day. ? Know where your campers are at all times. ? No use of profanity or derogatory words such as “dumb, stupid, etc.” ? Adhere to dress code (same as Cobb County School District). ? Participate in Leadership Training weekend from 9am-6pm. ? Participate in Meet and Greet Orientation ? Report to camp from 8:00am -4:00pm Monday – Friday with late arrival or departure prohibited. ? Help organize and direct the camp finale show from 3pm-8pm. ? Meet with ECHHA Counselor Coordinator daily from 3:30-4:00 during camp to debrief. ? Check in cell phones at the start of camp and retrieve at the end of the day. Counselors may check phone during lunch for any messages. ? Do NOT leave the camp at any time. In case of emergency, consult with ECHHA Counselor Coordinator. ? In case of any disagreements, rules set by the ECHHA Executive Committee must be followed. ? ECHHA Executive Committee has approved a disciplinary action resulting in automatic expulsion for any act involving property damage or abuse of any camper or volunteer or objectionable conduct. Parent will be requested to pick-up expelled counselor.
Media Release Waiver
I hereby grant permission to the rights of my image, likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording. I also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area. By signing this release, I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed via the Internet or in the public educational setting. I will be consulted about the use of the photographs or video recording for any purpose other than those listed above. There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed. This release applies to photographic, audio or video recordings collected as part of the sessions listed on this document only. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. I hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization utilizing this material for educational purposes. If this release is obtained from a presenter under the age of 18, then the signature of that presenter’s parent or legal guardian is also required.
Medical Waiver
In the event of a medical emergency and a parent or other contact person named above cannot be reached, I authorize ECHHA Adult Volunteer(s) to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child, and I further authorize any licensed physician to examine my child and render such medical and/or surgical treatment which, in such physician’s reasonable judgment, may be deemed necessary for my child’s health and safety. The undersigned hereby releases ECHHA Adult Volunteer(s) from and against any and all liability arising out of participation in camp, including but not limited to all claims for personal injury while in ECHHA camp and/or all claims for medical services rendered.

We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
Refund
All registrations are final and camp fees are non-refundable. Requests made for a refund will be handled on an individual case by case basis.
