Camp Spike N Wave Volunteer InformationThank you for your interest in becoming a part of Camp Spike ‘n’ Wave®, the nation’s largest camp of its kind!
Camp Spike ‘n’ Wave® is a week-long, residential summer camp for children with epilepsy ages 8 to 14.
Camp is a place where our children living with seizures are able to try new things in a safe, encouraging, supportive environment.
Excellent counselors are the key to a great week of camp. To be considered for a counselor position each applicant must fill out the application in full.
Once your application has been submitted you will receive an email confirmation stating that our office has received your application.
For new applicants or first time volunteers, you will also be contacted by our office to set up an interview.

Kamp Kaleidoscope Volunteer InformationThank you for your interest in becoming a part of Kamp Kaleidoscope®!
Kamp Kaleidoscope® is a week-long, residential summer camp for teens with epilepsy ages 15 to 19.
Camp is a place where our teens living with seizures are able to try new things in a safe, encouraging, supportive environment.

Volunteer Reference and Criminal Background ChecksReferences:
New volunteer applicants are required to provide at least 3 character references from NON-FAMILY members who have first-hand knowledge of the applicant’s character, skills, and abilities (e.g. employers, teachers, guidance counselors, youth group advisors, etc.).
EFTX staff or former EFTX camp leadership may not be used as references. All references must be at least 18 years of age.
