Angel Tree Camping Scholarship Application
Children who have a parent in jail are eligible to receive a scholarship to come to camp. Scholarships are also available to children living in the same house. This scholarship provides children with a fun week at camp where they can experience the outdoors with new friends and new adventures.

Parental Expectations
Sunset Lake is committed to doing all we can to ensure that camp is a place of emotional and physical safety for all who attend. For us to provide your child with the very best experience, please answer the following questions. Your answers will be shared with your child’s counselor to help them best serve their needs.

Scholarship Reference
This form is sent to an individual that you wish to fill out a personal reference for your Camper Scholarship Application. We prefer references come from your church pastor or one of your child’s teachers. The letter should come from someone who knows your family on a personal basis but is not a family member.

Scholarship Request
At Sunset Lake we believe that no child should be turned away due to financial need. Our Worthy Camper Scholarship Fund is available to families facing financial stress. Our assistance program offers children the opportunity to attend Sunset Lake Camp that otherwise would not be able due to of lack of funds.
