Q: | How long has Skate Camp Midwest been operating? |
A: | 2021 was our inaugural launch. With 18 campers we broke in our new ramp in the woods, skated three of the Twin Cities’ best parks, and made sure all campers got to experience camp classics from slip ‘n’ slides to smores over the bonfire.
In 2020, our counselors and staff stayed at camp to test run all the facilities and activities. We spent a week determining the best places to set up skate lessons, the best way to get everyone a hot, delicious meal, and, of course, where to have a fun, safe time.
