Frequently Asked Questions
Summer Camp |
Q: | What time is camper check in? |
A: | Campers can check in for their week of camp on Sunday from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm.
A parent or trusted adult should bring your child to camp and walk through the check in process. This process should take less than 30 minutes. During camper check in you will review your child's health form, hand in any medications, and all campers will get a head lice screening.
After checking in campers can take their luggage to the cabins to meet their counselor and settle into their new home for the week!

Q: | What time is camp over on Friday? |
A: | For programs that end on Fridays: Join us at 2:30 pm in the Outdoor Chapel for the closing program. The campers will share songs and memories from their week at camp. Campers are released after closing program, around 3:30 pm.
For programs that end on Sunday: We will dismiss at 11 am after a time of songs and devotions.

Q: | Can I pick my child up early or drop them off late? |
A: | While we firmly believe that your camper will get the most out of their camp experience by being there for the whole time, we also recognize that sometimes life gets in the way. If you need to drop off your camper or pick them up outside of our usual times, please call our office ahead of time to let us know. We will make sure that someone is waiting to greet you and your camper when you arrive or that your camper is ready to go when you come to pick them up.
|
Q: | What should we bring to camp? |
A: | A complete list will be sent to any child who registers for a summer camping program. However, the list contains most of the things you would expect such as sleeping bag or bedding, pillow, clothes, swimsuit, towel, toiletries, Bible and flashlight.
|
Q: | Can you accommodate campers with food allergies? |
A: | If your child has a food allergy, please make sure to notify us by filling out appropriate section in your camper’s Medical Form when you register online.
We are able to provide basic alternatives for typical food allergies such as gluten or dairy. If your child has more severe or extensive allergies it is recommended that you bring supplemental food items to camp. Our kitchen staff is able to cook, microwave, or prepare separate food items for campers at meals. We can also provide a menu for your week at camp to help you better plan and prepare.
Please call or email our office to talk through specific food needs your camper may have or to find out more information about our menu and food options. During check-in you will be able to meet with the kitchen staff to drop food off and talk through specific details of your
camper’s food allergy needs.
