Intaglio Printmaking Workshop with William Tourtillotte
Description
This two-day workshop will cover several areas of intaglio printmaking. Through hands-on work guided by demonstrations and technical experiments and invention, each student will make a dry point and etched zinc plate using non-toxic materials and green techniques.

Workshop members will learn how intaglio printmaking works and create multiple proofs of their plates using the cylinder press and intaglio wiping/printing techniques.

*Intaglio is the family of printing and printmaking techniques in which the image is incised into a surface and the incised line or sunken area holds the ink.
