Character Design and Comic Strip Workshop | with John Thompson

This workshop covers designing a comic strip character and the tools and techniques used in the creation of a typical comic strip. Components include introduction to character design, crafting a comic strip, and hands-on activities. This will culminate in a group presentation and critique.

By the end of the workshop attendees should be able to understand character design basics, use of traditional tools used in layout and composition of a comic strip, and should have a completed comic strip featuring the character they designed.
