Lamp Design: Create and Illuminate!
Description
Lamp Design: Create and Illuminate! | with Eric Andre
This class will focus on making cardboard lamps that reflect things that bring them memories, nostalgia, love, emotions, energy, etc. These lamps can be anything and can take any form. The lamp could be a treasure/any object lost, stolen, or destroyed by time.
The primary materials are cardboard and light. The type of light each person may need will depend on the design. (bulb and holder, LED Strip, etc.)
Where and how would you install the lamp? (wall, desktop, floor, corner, ceiling, bedroom, hall, kitchen, etc.)
Think about how the light illuminates. How does it contribute to your idea manifestation? Make sure you consider where the lamp parts will go when designing.
Students are free to bring in their own form of illumination if they desire.
