1. Are you a high school student interested in SERVING at Camp Dixie this summer?
2. Do you want to learn more about LEADership and get a taste of what it takes to be a group leader?
3. Do you want LAUGH a little and have a great time at Camp Dixie in more of a leadership role?
If any of the previous questions sound interesting to you, the Camp Dixie Counselor-in-Training (C.I.T.) is what you have been looking for.

The C.I.T.’s focus is on leadership skills and activities that will help you in your school, home, and job. C.I.T.'s get to be an integral part of the Summer Program. You will get to assist the summer staff in daily responsibilities at camp and with the campers.

Applicants are required to attend June 1-6, 2025, CIT Training Week. This is a week for leadership training, spiritual enrichment and friendly fun! TRAINING FEE: $270 will cover food and lodging for the week. Then sign up to serve another week or two.

As a C.I.T. you are a solid Christian role model for the campers. This is great way to grow in your own faith. . . and it’s fun! C.I.T. members participate in their own Bible Studies, examine Biblical leadership, and discuss what it means to translate that into everyday lives.

A C.I.T. may also participate in:
-large group game leadership
-building campfires
-sports activities
-playing an instrument for singing
-spiritual growth activities
-swimming with campers
-assisting in leading archery, and more!

A C.I.T. will also assist with meal preparation and cleaning camp daily.
