Program Name
Range Riders: 7/27-8/1 at Trefoil Ranch (Entering Grades 9-12)

Program Description
Senior and Ambassador equestrian enthusiasts, gather for Range Riders! Visit the stables five times to learn all about horse care and practice your riding skills. You will also learn about rodeo events, go on a trail ride, and receive an introduction into English riding. Expand your ground school knowledge by understanding horse feeds and diet, how to care for equipment, and a deeper understanding of horse behavior. Save time to enjoy classic camp activities with the new camper choice blocks throughout the week!

Horseback Riding Programs
Campers in equestrian programs will be grouped according to experience level, and lessons for each group will be geared towards the least-experienced riders. Lessons include riding instruction, stable maintenance, and ground school (learning about the animals and tack and how to care for them).

Horseback riding is a sport that requires physical coordination, balance, and the ability to follow directions. Campers in horseback riding programs will hike to the stables for every horse program block, located three quarters of a mile uphill from the main camp. For everyone’s safety, participants not following directions from equestrian staff will not be permitted to ride. For the soundness and safety of our horses, riders may not exceed 250lbs.
