Lower School Extended Day (XD1)
Description
XD1 Program

The XD1 program is an engaging and creative program for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5. It is offered dismissal (3:00 pm) until 5:45 pm each day that school is in session. A variety of activities such as crafts, cooking, creative play, outdoor time, and gym time are part of a typical day in XD1.

The annual fee for each day of the XD1 is $1,734 ($8,620 for Monday - Friday). The amount due at registration is a 10% non-refundable deposit. You may opt to pay the balance in full and receive a 1% paid-in-full discount. Any remaining balance will be billed through UltraCamp’s Installment plan, charged to the account on file on the 15th of each month through February 2025.

Drop in requests will be honored whenever possible. The fee for a single day of XD1 is $58. The fee for a ten day subscription is $545. Ten day subscriptions are non-refundable and must be used during the 2024-2025 school year. Payment is due at the time of registration. Single day and ten day subscriptions are not financial aid eligible.

All drop in requests to attend XD1 must be made in writing to aux@cambridgefriendsschool.org.

All student tuition (SmartTuition) and auxiliary billing (UltraCamp) accounts must be in good standing before any student may participate in auxiliary programs. Students may be prohibited from attending or participating in auxiliary programs at CFS if the these accounts are not current.

If you receive financial aid for CFS tuition, you also qualify for assistance for the Early Morning Program at CFS. The formula for financial aid is one-half (50%) of the financial aid percentage awarded for day school tuition. For example, if a family gets 42% of day school tuition covered by financial aid, then 21% of the Extended Day Program fee will be covered by financial aid.
