(Winter) Helix Martial Academy: Karate
Description
Helix is a Martial Arts and Movement course like no other! Students will dive into Martial Arts and Movement training in a safe and encouraging environment, cultivating and sowing the seeds of skills that will last a lifetime! In Helix classes, students will be learning together to explore the special kind of power and focus we can develop when we combine what it means to be "strong" with what it means to be "safe”. Students will explore essential ways of protecting themselves with footwork, head movement, blocking, and the development of power and balance with their own diverse set of movements.

Karate has a minimum sign up of 6 students and a maximum sign up of 10.

This enrichment program will meet on January 16, 23, 30; February 6, 13, 27; March 6, 13.
This enrichment program will not meet on February 20, as CFS is closed for February Break.
