(Winter) SPARK: Chain Reaction Engineers
Description
SPARK offers innovative, skills-based programs promoting 21st century skills like financial literacy, entrepreneurship and leadership for students.

Let’s learn about Rube Goldberg machines! In this hands-on program, students will build a variety of complex contraptions to complete a simple task- such as ringing a bell- while learning the basic physics concepts of work, gravity, force and momentum.

Using simple machines like levers, wedges, wheels, axels, pulleys and inclined planes, students learn to understand mechanical concepts in a fun way, while using their imagination!

The Chain Reaction Engineers Program has a minimum sign up of 6 students and a maximum sign up of 10.

This enrichment program will meet on January 15, 22, 29; February 5, 12, 26; March 5, 19.
This enrichment program will not meet on February 19 or March 12 because CFS is closed for February Break and Spring Conference Day.
