Description
Minimum registration fee $325Join us for the Japanese Arts & Media themed two-week credit program this summer. This session will not only focus on Japanese language skills, but also on various types of Japanese art ranging from traditional calligraphy and flower arrangement to modern forms of mass media like anime and film. Villagers will be encouraged to expand their creative horizons along with their linguistic ability in order to learn new skills and create art that will deepen their understanding of Japanese language and culture. This program is accessible to all language levels, but villagers ideally should have an interest in creating art along with learning about the history and scope of Japanese art. This program is the equivalent of one semester of high school credit, or one half Carnegie unit.
