Aquatics (Beach) (DB) Life is peachy at the beachy! Have some fun in the sun on our the beautiful Long Island Sound beach! Our American Red Cross certified staff will instruct swimmers on the basic swim strokes and assist them with strokes they want help on. More experienced swimmers can look into our Jr. Lifeguard class held on specific weeks. Beach goers will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of water and land games, and sometimes even beach crafts!

Archery Our archery program is in collaboration of the 4-H New York State Shooting Sports Program. We have a number of targets including stand up bull’s-eye targets, hanging dice, and stand up animal figures in our full archery range. Campers will utilize the week learning proper shooting techniques and safety from a certified instructor to improve their skills. We also play archery games and exercises to improve our skills and aim for our shooting sports goals. Activities include Tic-tac-toe, V-Shot and Shoot Your Fears to name a few. Each camper will have an opportunity to participate in the weekly competition to earn a bragging rights and goodies at the end of the week. | |
Farm & Agriculture Experience the beauty of our 40 acre farm! Campers will have hands on farm experience working with our farm educators and farmer, learning how to grow vegetables and flowers, how to care for our farm animals.

High Ropes (DB) Soar to new heights! We have 10 high-rope elements on our ropes course. Including a 3 face rock wall and a 50 meter zip-line. Learn the safe way to climb and challenge yourself. Each day new elements will be open and new challenges to endure. You can also battle the clock in a speed race against friends or climb our Jacob's ladder (Our two person rock wall teamwork element) with a friend. All while gaining confidence and conquering your fears.

Nature & Ecology Our knowledgeable staff will guide campers through the natural world of plants, animals, and hidden treasures around camp. Terrariums and aquariums are used in observing wild life until the animals are released back into their natural habitat. Classes are brought on adventurous hikes through the property to discover some of the local wonders that live right in our own backyard! Cornell is also proud to have one of the the world's most expansive ornithology programs with great opportunities for bird watching on our site. | |
Outdoor Living (ODL) Put your survival skills to the test!
This program highlights techniques used in survival camping. Campers will learn how to build a shelter, tie popular knots, build/light a controlled campfire, use a map/compass to navigate and all skills that would be used for a camp-out experience. | |
Performing Arts-Drama Campers will spend time getting the creative juices flowing through interactive improvisational games. They will have the opportunity to plan a brief skit from start to finish and express themselves through their characters. Campers will have the chance to show off their talents in a performance of the skit for the camp at the end of the week! | |
Sports & Recreation Soccer, beach volleyball, baseball, basketball, rugby, tennis and much more! Our sports program has a lot to offer. | |
Visual Arts Our program offers a number of projects to campers eager to get in touch with their creative side. Our talented staff lead classes such as fine arts, basket weaving, jewelry making, leather crafts, felt pillow and stuffed animals, comic books, tie dye, string art, camp beautification, do it yourself fashion and much, much more. Campers will make several projects throughout the week and then will be able to take them home to show off their skill! Campers can also work on projects for the Long Island Fair and compete to win ribbons and showcase their work. Projects are subject to change based on weekly offerings | |
