2025 Sea Explorers Marine Camp - Marine Reptiles Week Week, Session 3

Join us for an adventurous week exploring Long Island's marine habitats with a focus on Marine Reptiles! Our marine instructors will guide your child through interactive, hands-on learning experiences designed to be educational and fun. Campers will also discover the other amazing creatures living in our local oceans, bays, and salt marshes as they handle marine animals in our touch tanks, participate in beach activities and games, seine in our salt marsh, and make fun reptile crafts.

We will set out on a field expedition to see some live marine and land reptiles at the Atlantis Marine World Aquarium in Riverhead on Thursday 7/18/24. Your child will have the opportunity to see sea turtles and other herps up close and personal! We will also experience a Behind-the-scenes tour with Riverhead Foundation to see what sea turtles are in the hospital for rehabilitation! We will leave from and return to the Sport Fishing Education Center, Babylon and Sea Explorers Marine Camp will provide the busing to and from Atlantis Marine World. For this one day, camp will run from 9-3pm to allow for a little extra time at the Aquarium.
