KVC at 1870 Farm 7/7
Kids Vet Club is a great introduction into the world of animal health and husbandry. The two-hour classes and summer camp experience cover a range of topics from wellness exams and animal behavior to acupuncture and suture techniques. They provide an excellent foundation for those who want to explore more advanced concepts through Junior Vet Academy. In these classes, we will potentially be working with sharp objects and live animals IE: examining and evaluating live animals and doing procedures such as but not limited to giving actual injections to live animals. All activities will be supervised by trained team members of Kids Vet Club and or Junior Vet Academy. Students will always have the opportunity to opt out of an activity and engage in an alternative one. If you have concerns about any activities, please let us know in writing at least 24 hours prior to the class. Attendance at 1870 Farm summer camp is required to attend Kids Vet Club summer camp .The summer camp offerings take place during the normal camp day. The students will leave their daily groups to participate in the Kids Vet Club activities and then return back to their assigned camp groups. PLEASE be advised that they may miss regularly schedule camp activities during this class. If your child would rather partake in the traditional camp activities, we will allow them to return to their group unless directed otherwise by you.		$165.00
