Shamora’s Studio: Songwriting and Music Production with early intro into Music Engineering, 5th-8th
Description
Hi, I’m Shamora. I’m a singer-songwriter and producer. I have worked with and written songs for major recording artists and my work in the music industry has helped to sell millions of albums. I have written for artists like: J. Lo, Monica, Angie Stone, just to name a few. I have also released 5 albums on my own record label. I just love music! I would love to teach you what I know about songwriting and music and help bring out the creator in you. I hope to learn from you as well and together we will grow! I’m looking forward to meeting you!
Do you love music? Do you find yourself listening to your favorite singers and thinking I wish I could write songs like that, or I do write songs like that and I just need to know how to put it all together? Well this is the club for you!
In this club we will focus on the creativity of the songwriter, producer and engineer. We will learn what it means and requires to be fully immersed in the creative process and come out with your very own vision as a songwriter. You’ll understand what it’s like to guide and help create the vision as the producer or the engineer, the one pushing the buttons in the studio. You will also learn: how to work well with others, how to listen and respect your fellow creatives’ ideas because it’s all art and we respect art!
You’ll begin to hear music in a different way. You’ll gain an understanding and appreciation of why we hear music the way we do and what part you can play in it. There’s literally music happening all around us all the time. Songwriters are inspired by the world happening around them and this club is the place for those that dream, sing, play an instrument, create, those that learn and think outside of the box!
Learn how some of your favorite singers like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars create their own songs.
Do you play an instrument or sing?
Do you write poetry, short stories, or songs?
Are you interested in the technical side of music? Like how are songs mixed and recorded?
Would you like to have fun while learning with others and creating your very own musical art piece?
