Mathletics
Description
Catch up or get ahead with the foundations of Algebra. Mornings are spent on content and skills development and afternoons are for project-based applications. We have tailored this week of camp to achieve the larger goal of engaging students with the practice of using mathematics as a vehicle to teach problem-solving, by presenting novel activities to students in a way that teaches students strategies by way of inquiry-based projects. Through game design, spatial design, and discussions of investment strategies, students will learn the foundations through experiential learning.
