Wednesday/Thursday Chicken Embryology
Description
Back by popular demand, Chicken Embryology! In this after school session, we will be learning the development of chickens from start to finish. After 21 days in the incubator, our chicks will hatch. Until then, we will observe the embryo development with the candling method, learn chicken breeds, conduct a taste test with store bought eggs and farm fresh eggs, and more!

Our chicks are expected to hatch April 21-22nd and our Duck Race 2025 is scheduled for April 27th. If your child is interested in volunteering to help educate the public about the chicks they hatched, please let me know. All chicks will be on display at this event. Youth participation is optional.
