Wake Tales & Trails - CIT
Description
Twist some tales and explore some trails. This camp will encourage your child to fully engage their mind in writing stories about the wonders of nature. Campers will enter their own world of stories and play games of mythical creatures and famous folklore.

*Please note there is no camp on Friday, July 4th for the July 4th holiday*

CIT drop off is at 8:15. Pick up is from 2:45pm - 3:00pm. For an additional $80, you can add aftercare to pick up between 3:00pm - 5:30pm.

As a CIT, your role is to support the counselors, bring energy and excitement to the day, and keep an eye out for the needs of the campers.

You get to help create the same incredible camp experiences that you had as a camper, and get to be a model for them to learn from. When you’re a CIT, you get to make the magic of camp happen! Your age allows campers to be more comfortable around you, and you can provide insight that may not be immediately obvious to counselors; it is important to ask for feedback and to give your insight on campers/group dynamics. Being a CIT makes you a part of a legendary group of people who understand PWC like no other person does.

CITs (Counselors in Training) are required to attend Outdoor Leadership Camp.

If you are interested in being a CIT 2 for this camp, please email us at camp@piedmontwildlifecenter.org.
