SF East Bay-Quest Summer Camp Wk 6
Description
Quest’s summer program provides a 6 hour daily program within a day camp setting. Each child participates in a group of 12 -18campers, learning to work with others guided by three counselors who understand children and have been chosen for their knowledge, patience and desire to help. Four licensed therapists provide daily group therapy, clinical expertise and intervention strategies to maximize progress.

Registration is required for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks, starting 6/16 or 6/30. Since the program is therapeutic, it requires at least 3 consecutive weeks for benefit. Campers may register for additional weeks as long as they begin on these two dates.

Quest is fun! Through the day camp activities, children learn to have more fun while counselors assist them to solve problems and increase confidence. Daily sports (low competition), games, arts & crafts, hikes, nature activities, music, singing and “Fabulous Fridays” entertain while providing learning experiences at camp. Instructional sports are helpful because they teach success by learning small components, then integrating these into more complex skills. Quest campers improve athletic skills as well as psychological and social ones. Even those campers who have shied away from sports play with enjoyment.

Quest Summer Camp- SF East Bay is located at a Danville public school. The school district will assign us later this spring.
