Habitats, Adaptations, and Evolution 2024
Description
In this course, participants will explore habitats, evolutionary theory and adaptation through inquiry investigations, zoo tours, group activities and discussion. Participants will explore key questions about species diversity and the relationship between species and their habitats. This course will examine the implications of evolution for species survival in modern times.
This class is available only for Woodland Park Zoo’s Advanced Inquiry Students.
The Advanced Inquiry Program is a one-of-a-kind master’s program that allows you to pursue your passion in collaborative inquiry and conservation action at the Woodland Park Zoo while earning either an M.A. or M.A.T. degree in biology through Miami University.
