Gr 9-12 Cincinnati Service Immersion - March 10th
Description
Join us as we learn about the resources available to those who are experiencing poverty and spend time being part of the solution. This immersion will include volunteer opportunities as well as a poverty simulation.

Important information:

~A one-day service immersion experience*
~Earn direct service hours.
~Registration available for up to ONE Cincinnati Service Immersion each school year, unless you are a student leader.

For Monday, March 10th, we will meet at CHCA High School in theater commons at 8:00 am and take a bus to Understanding Poverty Workshop @CHCA followed by service at Bethany House

St. Vincent de Paul to participate in a poverty simulation. After time for lunch, we will serve at St Vincent de Paul in their warehouse and assisting members of the community to shop in their food pantry. We'll debrief and pray, and then return to school by 3pm.

Please bring with you:

- Refillable water bottle
- Appropriate clothing (including closed-toe shoes)
- A positive attitude
