The Fiber Circle with Sid
Description
Fiber Arts have been a part of human civilisations for thousands of years. They help us to stay warm, safe, and comfortable, but they also provide a special way of connecting with the people around us and the Fiber Artists who came before us. In this enrichment, students have the opportunity to improve their current Fiber Arts skills, learn new skills, share their skills and knowledge, and connect with other Fiber Artists. Any Elementary student (1-6th grade) is welcome to join, whether they’ve been doing it for years or have never tried it. In The Fiber Circle, we’ll focus on knitting, crocheting, weaving, and sewing. We will provide materials and tools, but students are welcome to bring their own. Sid Sideris, our Lower Elementary Assistant Teacher, will lead this Enrichment.
