Wing Chun Kung Fu for Kids: 2nd - 3rd
Description
Learn a meditative and dynamic martial art called Wing Chun. Its nature is simple, direct, and efficient. Wing Chun comprises three empty hand forms: Siu Nim Tau, Chum Kiu, and Biu Jee. These forms have very distinct areas of development.

Siu Nim Tau means to discipline one's mind by "living in the moment" of present-mind consciousness. This form is foundational in that it centers all practitioners with Centerline and Facing as its pillars (year-1).

Chum Kiu is about "seeking the bridge" and maintaining "balance in motion" while training with others to advance one's kung fu. Introduce Chi Sao, which is "Sticking Hands." (year-2)

Biu Jee is about recovering one's Centerline. Once you learn the two previous domains of Centerline-Facing and Balance-in-Motion we need the mental and physical ability to recover our values and principles.

Wing Chun also has a fourth form which comprises the first three domains and that is the Muk Yan Jong or Wooden Man Dummy. This wooden man partner holds still and steady like a target for practitioners to train and develop what they have learned. MYJ helps with honing and sharpening your skills to be precise, strong, and functional.

This martial art also has two weapons and they are the Bot Jahm Doa (paired knives) and the Luk Dim Boon Gwan (six and half point pole). One is for close range while the latter is for long range defense.
