Threaded Expressions: Embroidery, Turfing, and Wool Felting [2nd +]
Description
This course introduces students to the world of Fiber Arts, focusing on embroidery, tufting, and wool felting. Through guided projects, students will learn basic stitching, create textured tufted designs, and craft unique wool-felted items. Each session is tailored to engage their creativity and develop practical skills. By the end of the course, students will complete several beautiful, handmade art pieces.

Course Objectives:
1.Introduce Fiber Arts: Teach foundational techniques of embroidery, tufting, soft sculpture and wool felting.
2.Build Fine Motor Skills: Enhance precision, coordination, and concentration through hands-on crafting.
3.Encourage Creative Expression: Let students design and personalize their own art pieces.
4.Foster Patience and Focus: Develop resilience and attention to detail through step-by-step crafting.

Outcomes:
By the end of the course, students will have gained confidence in Fiber Arts, completed several projects across embroidery, tufting, and felting, and developed their creative skills. These crafts not only offer artistic expression but also teach patience, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
