Description
Our Apprenticeship Program is an exclusive opportunity crafted for those who've completed CIT 1 and CIT 2 but are not yet 18 years old and ineligible for summer staff roles. This unique leadership opportunity allows those with a passion for leading girls to immerse themselves in the heart of summer camp. Participants will take a deeper dive into camp life by learning about specific program areas and exploring each staff member's roles while helping to create a wonderful experience for campers. Apprentices also build their real-world expertise by understanding the intricacies of the camp business and what it takes to host a summer camp. Apprentices must have completed CIT 1 and CIT 2 to apply for this opportunity. Candidates will be contacted to schedule a short interview. Those accepted into the program will be assigned to one camp for the duration of that camps season. The Apprentice Program is provided at no cost to participants. Participants are required to leave camp in-between sessions. Participants can take the bus at no additional cost, have a parent/guardian pick-up/drop-off, and or drive themselves with parental consent.
