All Levels: Drumming
Description
This all-level group class will teach hand drumming and stick drumming to both beginners and more advanced players. This class will include playing rhythms using drum sticks and a pad or a snare drum. Students will also learn hand drumming with tubanos, congas and djembes, building up their skills at ensemble ""drum circle"" style playing.

Students will learn techniques for solo playing, accompanying others (such as in a band) and how to play together in a drum circle. Students will work with a method book, learning how to read musical notation and play from the book.

Students are required to purchase drum sticks and a practice pad for use at home and at school. Larger hand drums and snare drums will be made available during lessons at FCS.
