Intermediate Plus: Wind Ensemble (Brass and Woodwinds)
Description
This group class is designed for intermediate level brass players and above. Families must contact Ben Kintisch, Instrumental Music Coordinator, for approval to sign up.

This intermediate plus group lesson is designed to give experienced brass players an opportunity to build skills as solo and ensemble instrumentalists. Students will learn how to make a sound, how to make the correct embouchure, and how to play different notes. Students will learn a basic scale and some simple melodies. Students will learn using an introductory band method book.

Previous lessons/study on the chosen instrument is required to enroll in intermediate lessons.

Students are required to purchase or rent a brass instrument (trumpet/trombone/French horn/tuba) and bring it to school for all lessons.
