Musical Explorers: Strings
Description
Our strings class for music explorations introduces young children to the violin, viola, and cello. Instruction emphasizes foundational techniques with playful and engaging activities. The instructor will teach basic concepts like holding the instrument properly, drawing a bow across the strings to make sound, and exploring simple melodies. Using games, movement activities, and rhythm work, the teacher will keep the class fun and dynamic so as to be appealing and appropriate for our youngest musical learners. Like all of our music explorations offerings, we strive to balance building skills as we also enjoy friendship and community with our classmates. Note: students need to bring their chosen string instrument (rented or purchased by the family) to each lesson.

$8.5 discount per session due to dual enrollment in Ex-Day. The actual amount will depend on the total number of sessions. Please only select this if you are currently enrolled or plan to enroll in Ex-Day during the Auxiliary Program seasons. This discount will be reviewed at the end of the Auxiliary Program by an Administrator before it is approved and a credit will be applied to your Ultracamp account.
