MAKING MEMORIES that we ever forget is soemting we look forward to and love sharing with our campers! We can't wait to have your kiddos join us for all the fun and exciting me of senior day camp!

What is Senior Day Camp?
Our senior day camp program is set up to mirror the overnigtht program by allowing Campers age 7-14 to enjoy many of the same activities overnight campers do while getting to go home at night.

Traditional camp activities like swimming, horseback riding, canoeing, drama, crafts, sports, games, ropes and archery are featured. Campers sign up for 4 activities that they will get to do each day, Monday-Thursday. We will also offer classic camp games such as Slip n' Slide, Gau Gau, water trampline and many others. We love singing silly songs like Herman the Worm, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Little Red Wagon and so many more! Each camper will experience personal growth, nature exploration, friendship building, and cooperation and working with others.

Routine: Arrival at 9am and leave at 5pm daily, except Friday when pick up is at 2pm. Our senior day camp group will spend time together at the beginning of the day, at meals and other times, while also getting to enjoy the activities they sign up for with a many other campers. This allows them to have a consist group to grow with, learn with, and depend on, while also meeting new friends and stepping outside of their comfort zone.

Cabin Group Details
Size: Up to 10 campers and a minimum of with two staff members(at least one is 18+ years of age)

Staff Members Qualification and Training
All staff members:
-Are interviewed
-Provide at least 3 references
-Take part in our thorough training program

Staff members 18 years of age and over:
-Receive multiple background checks

Activities
Archery
Campers get a chance to shoot our Genesis bows. They will learn the basics of safety shooting archery as well as test their skill levels, try some fun games.
Canoe/Kayak
Campers get a chance to learn how to use a canoe safely; Enter, paddle, change places, what to do if your boat tips. They will also play some fun water based games and explore Eagle Lake.
Crafts
Campers get to express themselves in a variety of ways. They maybe great clay figures, create "lava" lamps, paint a masterpiece, sew a Camp Monster...who knows, but it is sure to be FUN!
Drama
Campers have another outlet to express their creative side. Through improv games like, busstop or freeze, creating a video(to be viewed at our closing ceremony) or a fun fashion show, the campers really get to have a good time and step outside of their shells a bit.
Rec
Campers get to have a blast with their fellow campers, playing games. gua gau ball, basketball, soccer, fooftball, volleyball, obstacle courses and every variation you can think of.
Ropes/Teambuilding
Campers get a chance to try our teambuilding activities. During these sessions we try to give them a variety of experiences from our ground initiatives and climbing wall to possible the power pole or giants ladder.
Swimming
Campers get to enjoy Eagle Lake and have a blast in the water. They will probably spend a few minutes practicing their swimming....probably not much though, they will be playing games, jumping on the water trampoline and so much more.

Before Care
"Before Care" Needed - Monday
Day Campers can arrive prior to the start of the normal camp day, if needed. Campers are welcome any time after 7:30 until 9am which is when the start of the day camp schedule happens each day. If the camper attends "Before Care" they will have breakfast with us. 		+ $10.00

4-H MemberMilitary Member Discount
Campers who...... Are currently enrolled members of 4-H OR Have an active-duty/retired parent, sibling, grandparent or Aunt/Uncle are eligible for this $50 discount.
Discount eligibility may be verified.

A returning camper who recruits a new camper to attend a camp session is eligible for this discount.
Discount eligibility will be reviewed and therefore your balance at check out may not show these funds being taken off. We will review the discount and apply it to your balance following verification of eligibility.

Early Registration Discount
Campers registered on or before April 15, 2025 recieve this $25 discount.

Multi-Week Attendance Discount
Campers who attend more than one week of camp in the same season are eligible for this $50 discount.
This discount can not be applied to the campers first session of the current season.

Campers who have never attended Camp Kidwell before are eligible for this $25 discount.
