Description
Seal of Biliteracy - STAMP World Language Assessment Registration

To pursue the Seal of Biliteracy, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in both English and a world language of your choice—either a world language of study or a heritage language. You may choose to pursue the Seal of Biliteracy in multiple languages. You may use an AP exam or a STAMP exam to demonstrate proficiency in the world language(s) of your choice. Students currently enrolled in Level IV of a world language at Fenwick or who are proficient in a heritage language are invited to take a STAMP world language proficiency assessment. Please sign up below if you would like to take a STAMP assessment.


STAMP Exam Registration:

Please sign up for an exam time slot for each world language in which you would like to pursue the Seal of Biliteracy by taking a STAMP assessment.

All assessments will take place in the Language Lab at Fenwick.

The STAMP (4S) assessment is self-paced and will take approximately two hours.

The assessment fee is $25/exam. All testing will be in the Language Lab.

Juniors: Please do not sign up to test at 8:00 a.m. on Tues. 2/11 or at 8:00 a.m. on Tues. 2/18. You will have meetings with the College Counselors during late starts on these dates.


Languages Available:

You may take the STAMP (4S) assessment in any of the following languages: Arabic (Modern Standard), French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin (Simplified), Mandarin (Traditional), Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, or Spanish. Demonstrating English Proficiency:

To demonstrate English proficiency, you will need to earn a qualifying score on the ACT, SAT, or AP English Language and Composition exam.
