Saturday Nature Squad B (Fall 2024)
Description
Registration Requirements: Preregistration required and includes the full series.

Ages of Children Served: This program is designed for ages 5 through 13 years. Children participating in the class should be kindergarten age and older. (For parents of five-year-old children, the hikes in this program are longer than that of our Green Sprouts program. Young five-year-old children are encouraged to participate in our Green Sprouts programs at our Nature Preschool). Children will be split into smaller, age-appropriate groups upon arrival.

Program Description: Join our crew and be immersed in hands-on experiences in an idyllic outdoor setting at Rowe Woods. We’ll explore the seasonal changes during this monthly adventure by strolling through the forest, hunting for critters in the pond, collecting fall seeds, and preparing for winter.

Note: This is a drop-off program. Caregivers will drop off their child for this program. Children must be potty-trained.

Program participants meet on four select Saturdays at our Rowe Woods' Visitor Center Auditorium from 9:30 am to 12 pm.

Cost: With Family Membership $120; without Family Membership or nonmember $150. Only members with Family Membership (or higher) receive a discount.
