Washington D.C. Experience - Camper
Description
The Washington D.C. Experience is now a family-based opportunity! Get ready to enjoy the Capitol and advocate for greater childhood cancer research and funding, all as a family! Applications are welcome from both diagnosed campers and sibling campers.

Camp One Step is partnering with the Alliance for Childhood Cancer to train campers and families on how to speak with their state government officials, as well as provide the opportunity to share their experiences on the hill. Camp One Step will also provide engagement for families to get to know one another as well as to explore Washington D.C.

Attendee selection will be highly competitive as only a small number of families can attend each year. Please take time to carefully consider responses in the application; a selection committee will review candidates and make decisions accordingly.

Please note: This is an experience for the whole family. If your family is chosen the expectation is that all members of the family will be able to participate in all programming for the duration of the experience.
