Description
This program provides both a wilderness adventure and a chance to learn more about farming. The wilderness is a place to discover the interdependence of plants, animals, and humans. Organic practices on the farm support a healthy wilderness by avoiding dangerous pesticides and focusing on natural processes for developing and maintaining healthy soil.
Connecting with farm animals helps students appreciate how important farms are in their everyday lives.

Farm and Wilderness Exploration is a 3-4.5 hour program for students in 2nd-6th grades. Our typical program extends from 9:30am-2:30pm, and the ending time can be adjusted to meet your school's scheduling needs.
