Lyrical Contemporary: Monday
Grades: 4-6
Time: 4:00- 5:30pm

12 classes; No class dates: 9/2, 10/14, 10/21, 11/25
This class focuses on the Lyrical style of dance, blending techniques and skills from ballet and jazz. Students will explore how lyrical dance emphasizes interpreting music lyrics to tell a fluid story through movement. The Contemporary portion of the class will elevate their skills by teaching them to interpret movement independently of the lyrics, allowing them to create their own narratives.
Attire: Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps), tan/flesh convertible tights, pink split-sole ballet shoes, and hair pulled up. (Black ballet skirt is optional).
