Dance Technique consists of various genres including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. Students will build strength, flexibility and refine movement quality. Dancers will learn how to better control their bodies, while also practicing various leap patterns, as well as turn combinations - all of which provide technically skilled dancers with the ability to dance using correct body placement, alignment and beautiful lines. Attire: Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps), Black Jazz pants/leggings, Black boy short optional (must wear flesh colored convertible tights), Tan split sole, slip on jazz shoes, and hair pulled up.
