Executive Functioning & Study Skills: Tuesday and Thursday

In this 8-week course, students will meet from 4:00-5:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, expanding upon the study skills and executive functioning strategies being taught during middle school advisory. By delving deeper into their academic habits, students will learn to independently create systems that enhance their executive functioning skills. Topics include stress management, time management, planning/prioritizing and self-advocacy, as well as study and test-taking strategies. This course empowers students to leverage their independence, boosting their confidence as they transition through middle school and prepare for high school and beyond.
