We are never too young to experience the magic of wonder and creativity. In Magic Explorers Jr. class, we teach creativity with our minds and our hands. Together, we develop magic props and learn to practice and perform them, which brings confidence and joy. The young magicians are rewarded with respect for themselves, as well as for others, as they learn communication skills with enthusiasm and authenticity. Some of the creations will include turning a frown upside down, picking one toy at a time from a toy box and helping an alien learn English.

Classes will focus on the following topics:

• Week 1: Super Spinners – Explore optical illusions and create spinners.
• Week 2: Presto Paint – Mix colors and practice “mind reading” color choices.
• Week 3: Toy Box – Learn responsibility and perform a toy guessing trick.
• Week 4: Magic Carpet – Discover gems with a “magic carpet” trick.
• Week 5: Torn & Restored – Celebrate Valentine’s with a broken heart that’s magically restored.
• Week 6: Funny Money – Explore the history of money and “double” paper bills.
• Week 7: Alien Decoder – Decode English words as if teaching an alien.
• Week 8: Wacky Weather – Learn about weather with magical weather changes.
• Week 9: Crazy Caterpillars – Use optical illusions as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.
• Week 10: Color Changing Wands – Perform magic with wands that change color.
• Week 11: Jumping Frog – Try origami and make a jumping frog.
• Week 12: Making Music – Match instruments to sounds and change notes.
• Week 13: Picnic Baskets – Study healthy eating with a fun food-guessing trick.
• Week 14: Easter Eggs – Watch eggs appear, disappear, and multiply.
• Week 15: Wonky Rockets – Explore space and the magic of levitation.
• Week 16: Mother’s Day – Create flowerpots for Mother’s Day.
• Week 17: Review & Graduation – Practice magic from the course and earn a certificate.
