Hillcrest Choir Primer-2nd: Thursday

This beginner-level choir teaches the fundamentals of performing music as a vocal ensemble. Emphasis is on pitch, rhythm, voice placement, choral vowels, and two-part singing. Using songs of all styles and cultures, the focus is on age-appropriate musical development. The choir will perform at various events, some outside of school hours, and participation is highly encouraged. Dates will be communicated by the instructor. Performances include Grand Friends' Visiting Day on Friday, April 4, and the Lower School Choir Spring Concert on Thursday, May 8. Choir robes and sheet music are provided. Please note that Choir is also offered on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m.
