This class focuses on Lyrical dance, blending ballet and jazz techniques to help students express stories through movement that reflects the music’s lyrics. In the Contemporary portion, students will take their skills further by learning to interpret movement beyond the lyrics, creating their own narratives through dance.

Dancers will participate in the 13th Annual Parish Extend Dance Academy Performance on May 10th. The class fee includes the Dance Performance costume.
Attire: Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps), tan/flesh convertible tights, pink split-sole ballet shoes, and hair pulled up. (Black ballet skirt is optional).
