Join us for an exciting Field Hockey class, perfect for beginners and those looking to enhance their skills. Experienced Parish Athletics coaches will create a fun and supportive environment where students will learn the fundamentals of field hockey while developing teamwork and sportsmanship.
Grades 6th-7th: Skill Enhancement, Game Strategy, and Beginner Focus
For both beginners and those looking to elevate their game, this session is designed to cater to all skill levels.
Class will focus on:
• Beginner Component: New players will learn the basic skills of field hockey, including dribbling, passing, and shooting, in a supportive environment.
• Advanced Techniques: For those with some experience, focus will be on refining dribbling, passing accuracy, enhancing shooting power, and strengthening defensive skills with specialized drills.
• Tactical Understanding: Learn game strategies, positioning, and decision-making to elevate on-field performance.
• Competitive Play: Engage in structured scrimmages that emphasize teamwork, communication, and game strategy, providing an opportunity for all skill levels to shine.
• Personal Growth: Build confidence and sportsmanship while making new friends who share a passion for sport.
What to Bring: Comfortable athletic wear, shin guards, stick if you have one, water bottle, and a positive attitude!
