When: Sunday, December 15th from 1-4 pm, (MUST arrive by 12:45pm)
Where: Parish Episcopal School- Midway Campus, 4101 Sigma Rd, Dallas, TX 75244.

We are thrilled to be hosting our first mahjong "social" tournament! We are calling it a "social" tournament because we are removing the confusing scoring rules, focusing on friendly competition, and improving our game! This social tournament is geared towards intermediate mahjong players. A thorough understanding of all NMJL rules and experience playing mahjong is required! Perfect for first time tournament players!

Here are the details:
•Must arrive by 12:45pm for check in, seating, and rules! Arrival past 12:45pm will result in a 10 point penalty.
•NO BLANKS!
•8 jokers (vs. the 10 you may be used to playing with)
•Scoring - When you get a mahjong, you will receive the value of the line. The only exception will be if you mahjong with no jokers, you will receive the line's value and an additional 10 points. There will be no doubling points or losing points. In a wall game, everyone will receive zero points.

Light bites and drinks will be provided! There will be CASH PRIZES for the winners!

Grab a group of your besties or come on your own!
Tiles, mats, and racks are provided by @myfairmahjong!
All you need to bring is a 2024 NMJL Card! (Can be purchased at https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/store.aspx or locally at the Jewish Community Center!)
