Reading Workshop: 7th-8th Grade
Grades: 7-8

Get a head start on summer reading and finish early! This one-week camp is designed to help rising 7th and 8th graders make significant progress on their required summer reading. Students will have structured time to read in a variety of settings, participate in discussions, and dive into key literary elements such as character development, theme, and conflict. They’ll also strengthen comprehension skills and practice annotation techniques to enhance understanding. By the end of the week, students will leave with a solid foundation in their reading assignment, freeing up the rest of the summer for stress-free fun. A camp summary outlining the students’ progress and activities will be sent home at the week’s end.
