Sweet Tooth Art Camp*
Grades 3rd -6th

Artists find inspiration everywhere, even in the candy aisle. Each day we will create a “sweet faux” piece of art while learning mixed media techniques, acrylic painting and 3D art. Get ready to create a realistic banana split, “flat-dimensional sprinkle cake”, truly gigantic cookie, Thiebaud-style four-square ice cream display and a teeny tiny miniature cakes. And as always, campers will get to sample the delicious sweets while they create the faux ones. This sugar rush inspired art class is sure to be a treat for your eyes! Campers take home at least five completed pieces of art by the end of the week. Returning students who participated in past Sweet Tooth Art Camps always create new projects. Campers should wear old clothes that can get paint on them!
