Math Workshop: Numbers, Counting, and More, Kindergarten

This week is all about math! Campers will explore essential skills like number sense, addition, subtraction, and place value through hands-on activities, games, and visual aids. Using tools like Unifix cubes, counters, charts, number lines, and videos, they'll gain a deeper understanding of key concepts in a fun, interactive setting.
Led by Parish Kindergarten teacher Melissa Cates, this workshop is designed to build confidence, spark a love for math, and help prevent the summer slump. With a small student-to-teacher ratio and a camp summary sent home on Friday, every camper will receive targeted support and encouragement to strengthen their math skills.
